Hi 👋, I’m Logan.
Work
I’m a backend-focused senior software developer primarily working in Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, and React. I work at jane.app, which provides clinic management software for those in the allied healthcare space. My work involves improving upon the onboarding of clinics, ensuring success of a clinic from the first 90-days.
I work to improve user activation and retention.
Outside of Work
I like to work on other projects in Ruby, Go or Rust.
I enjoy seeing something go from A to B, but I also enjoy A/B testing, experimentation, and making data-driven decisions on how to drive a product forward.
I like prototyping, and at some company-wide hackathons I’ve gone from creating an in-house Continuous Deployment system using an in-house deployment tool, to working on a customer data platform.
Works-in-progress
- DBML parser for Rails schemas
- Faster-booting MicroVMs
- Auto-update and Self-Restarting Go library for Go binaries
Open Source
I’ve contributed (a few minor fixes) to Ruby on Rails
Technologies I work with
Ruby on Rails – Go – React – TypeScript – Docker – PostgreSQL – LaunchDarkly
